I’m a ceramic artist with a multidisciplinary background, based in both Tel Aviv and New York City.
I hold a BA with a double major in Biology and Philosophy, and a certificate in Filmmaking from The New School. My inspiration is drawn from biological concepts, philosophical theories and cinematic techniques. My practice is supported by parallel writing, specifically poetry and film photography. I integrate these mediums into my ceramics, crafting pieces which embody movement and a sense of temporality.

I aim to explore the connection between earth, human nature, and history. I am fascinated by the primordial aspect of ceramics, which leads me to embrace irregularities and organic patterns to explore and express subjectivity, interconnectedness and intimacy.
My studies have led me to create art with a purpose. The objects I make have the ability to 'contain’ - space, water, air, and the human experience. Although functional, the pieces are often raw and unfamiliar to our conventional sense of touch. This tension between expectation and the reality of an experience provokes new ways of thinking and being. Each interaction offers an unexpected invitation to connect; I believe it is through connection with ourselves and others, that we get closer to truth and beauty.
Through my practice, I invite you to reflect on the intersection of nature, matter, human structures and the vessels that have contained our experiences since prehistoric times.
